Care Bears have been teaching children to care for others since 1983 when their first toy line was introduced. Today the Care Bears are loved more than ever through generations of sharing the love of the adorable characters and toys. The Care Bears are asking for our help now to Share Your Care on September 9th as part of the Care Bears Share your Care Day.
What is the Care Bears Share Your Care Day?
Now, Care Bears are on a mission to spread the word on caring and sharing all around the world. The Registrar of National Day Calendar declared September 9th as Care Bears Share Your Care Day in May 2015. Care Bears and Care Bear Ambassadors help to generate the support for the national movement #ShareYourCare to inspire and motivate others to care for others, not just on that day, but every single day. Let us help them with this #CareALotChallenge!
Share Your Care Kid Ambassador Jessica Carscadden had big dreams of helping others.
She started a project called We Care Bears and delivered We Care Bears bags to help those in need of a little extra care. We Care Bears was created to help first responders gift plush toys to children in unbearable situations. We had the pleasure of meeting this young lady at Blogger Bash NYC. Her accomplishments are incredible at such a young age.
The Carscadden family has another cause that they are passionate about that we would like to help them with. They are raising funds to adopt a new member to their family. Please join them on their mission and help them welcome Jentry into their home. Visit their YouCaring page to learn how you can help them and learn more about Jentry.
How You Can Help Celebrate #ShareYourCare
The #ShareYourCare movement focuses on acts of kindness no matter how small. Care Bears encourage you to do something nice for others and to inspire bigger acts of philanthropy. Need some inspiration on ways to share your care? Try some of these acts of kindness to start. Treat a friend to lunch, spend the day volunteering for a charity, or help the elderly to cross the street.
